Meet Elijah. He was born with severe and profound deafness, and can only hear 75 decibels in his right ear while his left ear is deaf.
The news came just 24 hours into his young life.
Last month, at just nine weeks of age he got a chance to hear for the first time. His reactions to his mother's voice are adorably priceless.

According to the Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, little Elijah Cook is still happily cooing, smiling and responding to the sounds coming from his parents, and seven year old sister.
