Warriors release video of team heading to OKC
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - The Golden State Warriors are headed to Oklahoma City. The team released video of players, coaches and other staff boarding a chartered plane to Oklahoma City Saturday morning.
The 31-second video included star guard, Klay Thompson and backup big man Marreese Speights.
The flight from Oakland International Airport to Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in about Warriors wil take about three hours.
The Warriors are tied with the Thunder at 1 game each in the best of 7 NBA Western Conference Finals.
Game 3 is Sunday at Chesapeake Energy Arena, with tip-off at 5 p.m. PDT.
Game 4 is Tuesday at Chesapeake Energy Arena, at 6 p.m. PDT.
Both teams will return to Oakland for Game 5 at Oracle Arena on Thursday, May 26 at 6 p.m.
Guard Stephen Curry is assuring fans his injured right elbow is okay, and he will be able to play without any restrictions.
He wore a black compression sleeve on the elbow during Friday's practice, to allow him to shoot the ball with no limitations, and he does not have to worry about further swelling.
Curry said the swelling is going down, and there's "nothing to worry" about.
He hurt his right elbow, when he landed on it diving for a loose ball in Wednesday's 118-91 victory over the Thunder.
