Warriors unveil new renderings for Chase Center
SAN FRANCISCO - The Golden SZtate Warriors unveiled new renderings for the Chase Center on Monday, which included just released images of the Gatehouse, a unique structure that sits at the center along Third Street welcoming guests as they arrive the main plaza at Chase Center and the surrounding district.
The Gatehouse will help to enclose the fourth side of the main plaza, creating a more intimate environment for guests and a separation from the surrounding neighborhood. The design incorporates seating for approximately 250 guests to sit in a tiered manner to enjoy events and activities that will occur on the main plaza. These could include a holiday skating rink; outdoor sporting events such as basketball, volleyball, etc.; and other public viewing events to occur on the main plaza, according to the Warriors.
The other renderings include new images of the two office buildings, which are 11 stories high and 580,000 sq. ft.
