Water main in Bernal Heights break, water shut off
A broken water main left sediment behind after water was shut off on Moultrie
SAN FRANCISCO - A water main broke in San Francisco on Saturday afternoon in the western area of the Bernal Heights neighborhood.
Moultrie Street was closed between Jarboe and Tompkins avenues at about 1:30 p.m., according to the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management.
Water was shut off in the area as crews from the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission worked on repairs.
The public was asked to avoid the area.
