Broken water main in Richmond causes flooding

Broken water main in Richmond causes flooding on Carlson Boulevard.

A water main broke early Wednesday morning in Richmond, creating flooding in the streets.

The break was reported about 5:15 a.m. at 47th Street and Carlson Boulevard, which was filled with rushing water and mud. 

Firefighters and crews from the East Bay Municipal Utility District arrived on scene to repair the situation.
