Ben Shapiro is a 33-year-old true conservative. Raised in Southern California, he’s a graduate of UCLA and Harvard Law. He’s published seven books denouncing liberalism, with his first at age 18 called “Brainwashed,” which criticized the University system for not giving students what he calls the "full picture"
Shapiro was the editor-at-large of the right-wing Breitbart News for 4 years before stepping down after his fellow reporter Michelle Fields was allegedly assaulted by Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewendowski. He resigned out of lack of support for her and then started bashing Trump.
That departure from Breitbart and anti-Trump stance caused a rift with fellow Breit-Barter Milo Yiannopoulos, making Shapiro a whipping boy for Milo's alt-right supporters.
Shapiro hosts an online political podcast called the Ben Shapiro Show -- second in iTunes popularity behind Oprah Winfrey's show.
He is also the editor in chief of the Daily Wire a popular conservative website and his right wing columns are read in 100's of newspapers worldwide.
Raised an Orthodox Jew, Shapiro has been a target of anti-Semitism.
“Refuse fascism says I am a fascist thug and white supremacist, which is really amusing considering I am the number one recipient of hatred from the alt right on the Twitter last year according to the Anti-Defamation League,” Shapiro said,
