Woman, 61, held in Oakland triple homicide
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - Oakland police are investigating the deaths of three people killed at a home that was also on fire early this morning.
Investigators say officers were called to the home on the 9400 block of Dunbar Drive near San Leandro Street around 12:21 a.m. on the report of gunshots being fired.
When officers arrived they found a man outside a home, dead from apparent stab wounds, and smoke coming out of a nearby garage.
KTVU has learned that police found 61-year-old Dana Rivers bleeding at the scene. Sources said she allegedly made incriminating statements and was later booked on suspicion of murder.
Sources said the case is an isolated incident involving a domestic dispute.
"This is a very quite neighborhood in Oakland and it's pretty shocking to the neighborhood, "said Lt. Dom Arotzarena of the Oakland Police Department
