Meteorologists said this week’s king tides are being amplified by a supermoon and the alignment of the sun, Earth, and moon, which creates a strong gravitational pull and leads to higher-than-normal tide levels.

Around 11,000 PG&E customers in the Richmond, Golden Gate Park and Presidio areas were left without power,

Parts of the building were evacuated out of an abundance of caution, and the SFPD advised the public to avoid the area until the scene was cleared.

PG&E's outage map showed that more than 30% of its users in San Francisco were affected by the blackouts.

The decision comes after Alameda County District Attorney Ursula Jones Dickson said she can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the former officer had committed a crime.

An explosion and fire erupted in a Hayward residential area on Thursday, destroying homes, shutting down a freeway and injuring six people after a construction crew struck an underground gas line, according to firefighters, witnesses and PG&E. 

Police said the shooting "appears to be an isolated incident," but a suspect is still outstanding.

Many of the women were left crying and "emotionally devastated," and many felt they were "being punished rather than legitimately searched."

The Fremont Police Department said it was notified on Saturday morning that federal authorities would perform "immigration enforcement and/or follow-up" in the city.
