Betty Yu is an Emmy Award winning reporter, who joined KTVU in April 2024. Her investigative zeal came to the forefront amid the pandemic when anti-Asian sentiment surged. Betty’s exclusive with a grandmother who became an emblem of resistance after a vicious attack garnered global attention, setting a precedent for the media spotlighting hate crimes.
