Pro-Palestinian supporters rally at Bay Area universities

A day after the one-year anniversary of the Hamas attack in Israel, pro-Palestinian protests were held on Bay Area college campuses. Protesters at Cal and San Jose State say the war in Gaza has gone on long enough and their support for the Palestinian people will continue.

Revelation of San Jose State trans volleyball player sparks forfeits from opponents

San Jose State University officials said via an emailed statement, that the school is in-line with Mountain West and NCAA rules relating to the participation of a reportedly trans athlete on the school's women's volleyball team. So far, three schools have declined to compete against SJSU, instead having the matches either listed as cancelations or forfeitures.

'Father of Black Studies' passes away at 91

A San Francisco legend who was known as the "Father of Black Studies" passed away on Monday. Dr. Nathan Hare started the first Black Studies program in the United States at San Francisco State University back in the 1960s.

SJSU football team prepares for intrasquad Spring Game Saturday

The sounds of hits and catches in the South Bay had nothing to do with football this past Thursday near the San Jose State Univ. campus. The school's football team worked through its 15th practice in preparation for Saturday's intra squad game.
