San Francisco police announce full deployment for many weekend events

A million people are expected in the city this weekend. In addition to SF Pride, several other events are happening that are likely to keep first responders busy. In front of the Harvey Milk Plaza at Market Street and Castro, city leaders, including the chief of police, came out to discuss safety for this weekend’s events. 

Adult, child killed at San Francisco bus stop

Three people are dead from a fatal crash at a San Francisco bus stop. An infant is currently suffering from life-threatening injuries, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

Taraval street and utilities project enrages merchants

For a half-decade, merchants along a stretch of San Francisco's Taraval Street have been suffering under the $90 million L Taraval Project. San Francisco's Municipal Transportation Agency and its Public Utilities Commission did it to create safer streets for pedestrians, Muni passengers and cyclists.
