Officers were called to 2700 block of Cormorant Court about 12:15 a.m., where they found the two shooting victims and provided medical assistance before they pair were taken to a local hospital.

The footage is giving her friends renewed hope they will find her safe.

Police in Union City are investigating a hate crime after someone spray painted racial slurs on a car. The car had signs in its windows supporting “Black Lives Matter.”

Officers spotted a man riding a motorcycle without a helmet and when he noticed them he took off through Charles F. Kennedy Park at a high rate of speed, according to a release from Union City police.

Union City police are investigating a Friday evening officer-involved shooting involving Fremont police. 

Police in Union City released a picture of a suspect’s car in a double homicide investigation. Police said it was involved in the shooting deaths of two young boys last November. 

“This decision to close Station 30 is a disaster waiting to happen, and it does not have to be this way,” said Sean Burrows, president of Alameda County Firefighters Local 55. 

Video on YouTube of the Union City intersection showed cars spinning in circles performing donuts and burnouts as passengers hung out of windows. Meanwhile, spectators cheered on.

The vehicle is described as a silver sedan similar to a mid- to late-2000s model Toyota Camry or Corolla.

Jared Reynoso’s family said he is still in critical condition in an induced coma at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.

Service organizations Youth and Family Services and the Union City Family Center are collaborating on the event set for 1 p.m. Sunday at the memorial site at Searles Elementary School 33629 15th St.

Chilling new video shows that at least two shooters opened fire on a minivan with two boys, ages 11 and 14, inside.

Several dozen people gathered on the grounds of Searles Elementary School to mark the spot where an 11- and 14 year-old - only identified as Sean and Kevin - were shot and killed inside a van in the schools parking lot on Saturday morning.

Officers arrived on scene, and found the two men in the parking lot of the school. One victim died at the scene, while the other died in route to the trauma center, said Union City Police.

Witnesses gave descriptions of the suspect to police at the scene of the fire and Eagle 6, the East Bay Regional Park District police helicopter that was actively dropping water on burning areas, spotted a person matching those descriptions.
