Three fatal accidents occurred within three hours early Thanksgiving morning, killing three people on highways spanning three counties across the Bay Area.

A retired farm worker and his dog died in a house fire in Brentwood. The victim's stepson suffered serious injuries from the blaze and is now fighting for his life at a burn center in San Francisco.

An Amtrak train smashed into a semi truck causing a extensive damage and a diesel spill. No one was injured but the train had to be evacuated and passengers were loaded onto buses to continue their travels.

A 37-year-old Brentwood man died Saturday after being stabbed multiple times, allegedly by his underage son.

Officers said the driver of the white pickup was cooperating with authorities and there is no indication that drug or alcohol was involved. 

Police say the suspect "fired into the ground near the victims feet and fortunately no one was injured."

Officers responded at about 8:10 a.m. to investigate a report of the mannequin and arrived to find it hanging from the side of a second-story home on Craig Court.

Officers at the scene found multiple items of drug paraphernalia on and around the bed she shared with her son, including 13 grams of powdered Fentanyl.
