SF New Year's Eve fireworks, big parties are back, despite rainy weather

Crews from Pyro Spectacular by Souza, producing San Francisco's New Year's Eve fireworks show, worked through wind and rain Friday, to load the enormous amount of fireworks shells onto the barge off the pier, putting plastic covers on them to keep them dry. The last time San Francisco held its annual midnight fireworks show was in 2019.

SFPD discuss plans to derail sideshows

San Francisco police say they're monitoring chatter and preparing crews for the possibility of sideshows. It was just one week ago that a series of illegal car stunt shows took over the streets of San Francisco and the Bay Bridge. 

SF Embarcadero placed on list of endangered historic places

The National Trust for Historic Preservation put The Embarcadero, the palm tree- lined promenade along San Francisco's waterfront, on its list of America's 11 Most Endangered Historic Place because it could erode into The Bay due to seismic activity.
