Heat Advisories Extended

A slow cooling trend into the weekend. It's still going to be hot, just not as hot. High temperatures on Thursday will be in the low 100s again with 90s around the Bay.

San Francisco endures another day of hot weather

For a second day, temperatures soared past the 80 degree mark in San Francisco. In a city that is known for foggy cool temperatures, medical experts say the heat can be especially dangerous for people who aren't accustomed to it. 

Excessive Heat Warning extended

The October heat wave continues. While temperatures should begin to cool in the Thursday forecast, another round of triple digit heat is expected. The Excessive Heat Warning has been extended until 11 pm Thursday. Forecast highs should range from the mid 70s near the coast to 103 well inland. The Friday forecast features slightly cooler temperatures. Drink lots of water and look for the shade! -Mark

Heat wave continues

The October heat wave will continue. Excessive Heat Warnings are in place through Wednesday night. After a mild start Wednesday morning, temperatures will heat up quickly during the afternoon. Highs should range from the low 80s near the coast to 107 well inland. We will likely have another round of records. The hot pattern begins to release its grip Thursday. Stay safe in the heat! -Mark

It's a heatwave

Tuesday should be the hottest day of the week with high temperatures into the low 100's. Temperatures will be slow to cool so 90s and 100's will last through Thursday.
