Family to file lawsuit after child struck by car in San Jose | KTVU

Seven-year-old Bastian Michel (known as Bazzy) was attending a tutoring session at KUMON learning on June 24th, when staff at the location lost track of him. Before staff realized he was gone, Bastian had been struck by a car, just a block away. KTVU's Tori Gaines reports from San Jose.

Alameda County firefighter investigated over racist rant

Alameda County's fire chief is apologizing for a firefighter's actions insisting his racist, rant caught on camera, is not reflective of the whole department. The incident stems from two drivers arguing just after their vehicle collided near Lodi. The fire chief says the firefighter could face discipline up to termination.
