Former Safeway security manager files lawsuit for wrongful termination
A former Safeway manager who did loss prevention, corporate security and investigation work for the supermarket chain, has filed a wrongful termination lawsuit. He says Safeway officials questioned him for giving food to San Francisco Police officers at stores where they were conducting sting operations and he was questioned for detaining theft suspects. The worker says he was authorized to take those actions, yet he was fired.
