The band of heavy rain will continue to stall over portions of the North Bay. Periods of heavy rain will continue to fall in Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties. Elsewhere, occasional rain will continue. The South Bay may pick up just a few scattered showers. This pattern remains in place tomorrow. The rain finally makes its move to the south, over the entire Bay Area, Friday. The flood threat will continue to be focused in the North Bay. An atmospheric river storm is expected to arrive in the North Bay late Tuesday before spreading to the rest of the Bay Area later this week, likely bringing several inches of rain and wind gusts of up to 45-50 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
