Oakland First Fridays returns as omicron recedes, U.S. COVID deaths hit 900k

The COVID-19 death toll has reached 900,000 in the U.S., but as the omicron variant surge recedes in the Bay Area, Oaklanders saw it as an opportunity to get outside for the return of First Fridays.
