Suspect arrested for alleged fatal shooting of Gene Ransom on Oakland freeway

Juan Angel Garcia has been arrested for allegedly fatally shooting a man in another car while driving on I-880 in Oakland. UC Berkeley has identified the man who was killed as Gene Ransom, a member of the university's hall of fame for his standout play on the men's basketball team in the 1970s.
