300 more families in Oakland get guaranteed income

Alisha Roe’s family is one of 300 selected last summer as part of phase 1 of Oakland Resilient Families — one of the largest GI pilots in the country. Now, an additional 300 households selected from a citywide pool last month for phase 2 are starting to receive their first of 18 monthly payments.
