COVID vaccination mandate proposed for California businesses

California businesses would be required to get their employees and contractors vaccinated against COVID under a bill proposed today by Assemblywoman Buffy Wicks. The legislation would cover workplaces of any size, but allow for medical exemptions to the mandate. A similar federal rule by President Biden was struck down by the Supreme Court.
