Grand Opening Friday of new SFMTA Bus Rapid Transit red lanes on busy Van Ness Avenue

San Francisco is launching its new Bus Rapid Transit system Friday, April 1st, with red bus-only lanes in the middle of Van Ness Avenue. Whimsical public art light sculptures, new brighter lights, displays, and ramps are intended to make the bus stops easier to navigate.
