Monkeypox epidemic ebbs and flows
As of Tuesday, the city reported 472 cases of monkeypox; 1,300 cases statewide. Quite literally, vaccine seekers were lined up around the block at SF General Tuesday morning, to get that relief. With 10,000 just arrived doses, the wait will likely be worth it for everyone in this line but no one knows how long the supply will last as the week wears on.
