Oakland's Taste of Denmark bakery is closing
A Taste of Denmark bakery, one of Oakland's oldest businesses announced it is closing on October 23. The 93-year-old bakery on Telegraph Avenue cited rising rent, increased crime, and the fallout from the pandemic as reasons why the workers' collective would shutter.
