Eastbound 580 traffic is backed up for miles near Livermore

One lane of eastbound traffic on I-580 near N. Flynn Road in Livermore is closed after a part of the highway's shoulder collapsed, officials said. Traffic is backed up for miles and there is no estimated time for the lane to reopen, officials said. Drivers should use alternative routes.
