U.S. Surgeon General says loneliness impacts physical & mental health in new report

The U.S. Surgeon General released a new report that says the nation is facing a devastating public health problem: an epidemic of loneliness. Research shows loneliness can impact both mental and physical health. Loneliness and isolation can increase the risk of premature death by 26% to 29% research shows.
