Local producer and director team up for 'Amerikatsi' film

Bay Area natives and longtime friends, Michael Goorjian and Patrick Malkassian, went into filmmaking separately but came together to make a film that honors their shared Armenian heritage. The movie 'Amerikatsi' tells the story of Soviet-era Armenia, following the Armenian genocide, long before Armenia became its own country in 1991. They joined us on 'The Nine' to talk more about what the film means to them.
