Off-duty pilot tries shutting engines on flight

An off-duty pilot traveling in the cockpit of an Alaska Airlines plane was arrested and accused of attempted murder after allegedly trying to urn off the engines on a flight from Everett, Wash. to San Francisco. The plane was diverted to land in Portland, Ore.
