Pres. Biden announces AI safety regulations
This week President Biden announced a first of its kind executive order promising rigorous safety regulations for artificial intelligence. The new rules will have a direct effect on San Francisco and the Bay Area, home to a list of tech companies on the cutting edge of AI development. KTVU's Heather Holmes and Alex Savidge speak with Ryan Steelberg, CEO of California-based AI company about the immediate impact of the order and how effective it might be at minimizing the risks of AI.
