Oakland police sergeant shoots and kills a man outside City Hall

An alarming exchange outside Oakland City Hall ended with a police sergeant shooting and killing a man armed with a gun. Mayor Sheng Thao said it just goes to show that, "City Hall is not immune to what people are feeling on the outside."
