Paul Pelosi attack trial begins in San Francisco

Today the federal trial began for the man accused of attacking Paul Pelosi, husband of Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just over a year ago. 43-year-old David DePape is charged with attempted kidnapping of a federal official and assault of the immidiate family member of a federal official. Today DePape's attorney laid out an unusual defense strategy, arguing her client was motivated by right-wing conspiracy theories.
