Neighbors describe machine guns, Army trucks in Pleasant Hill neighborhood

A seven-hour standoff outside a Pleasant Hill home ended Friday morning after police said a husband shot his wife in a tense situation that sent her to the hospital and put the neighborhood on edge. Neighbor Peter Scheers said he saw a lot of Army-style trucks, squad cars and officers with machine guns.
