120 CHP officers coming to Oakland and the East Bay

Gov. Gavin Newsom is sending 120 more CHP officers to Oakland and the East Bay – a 900% increase – to help cities fight crime. When the officers will start and exactly how they will be used has not yet been publicly revealed.
