Longtime Oakland business owner nearing retirement killed in his own auto shop

Aristeo Zambrano, a 68-year-old farmworker turned business owner, was shot and killed while working at his shop, Bay City Alternators, on International Boulevard near 88th Avenue shortly before noon on Feb. 3.
