'A Strange Loop' premieres in San Francisco

A Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning musical has made its way directly from Broadway to San Francisco's A.C.T Theater. 'A Strange Loop' is a groundbreaking tale of self-discovery and resilience, and tells the story of 'Usher,' who's a Black, queer writer, who's writing a musical about a Black, queer writer, who's writing a musical about a Black, queer writer-- that's the loop. Michael R. Jackson, who's the playwright of 'A Strange Loop,' joined us on 'The Nine' to talk about how his idea came to fruition.
