OpenAI unveils upgraded voice assistant technology

OpenAI revealed its latest voice assistant technology with an upgrade. It's called GPT-4o, and boasts capabilities to interpret facial expressions, replicate human speech patterns and engage in near real-time conversations. We spoke with Ahmed Banafa, an engineering professor at San Jose State University, about the future of artificial intelligence.
