New speaker series launching in Oakland
The Urban Peace Movement is set to host That's Oakland, Baby! on Wednesday. It's a fireside chat that's bringing together three titans in the music industry, with deep Oakland Roots to music, culture, history, and community. Those include iconic rapper Too $hort, Danyel Smith, a renowned author and former editor of Vibe and Billboard magazines, and the legendary D'Wayne Wiggins from Tony! Toni! Toné!
