PG&E prepares for hot weather, power shutoffs

As the Bay Area moves into possible record-breaking temperatures this week, PG&E says it's ready to respond to any potential heat-related outages. This also means the possibility of the utility's public safety power shutoffs in a number of Northern California counties, including here in the Bay Area.
