San Francisco offers help before clearing out homeless encampments

San Francisco is increasing its efforts to clear out homeless encampments. City crews are offering shelter, mental health care, and drug and alcohol counseling to the people living in tents. They'll give at least two days' notice before clearing the tents and will offer to hold residents' belongings.
