Appearing at the Dreamforce conference in San Francisco on Tuesday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom discussed the impact of artificial intelligence and guardrails for the technology in regards to election campaigns. While on stage with Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, Newsom signed three bills to combat deepfake election content.
