Celebrating Farm-to-School Month: Connecting students with fresh, local foods

The month of October is Farm-to-School Month. Schools across California are serving more fresh fruits and vegetables in school meals than ever before, following a push by the Department of Food and Agriculture and the Center for Ecoliteracy's California Food for California Kids Network.
