Social Security issues 2/5% COLA increase in 2025

Millions of Social Security recipients will see just a 2.5% cost-of-living increase in January, the lowest annual rise since 2021. On average, this amounts to about $50 more per month. The Social Security Administration made the announcement Thursday.
