Local organizations launch program to help athletes achieve financial stability

Nearly 80% of professional athletes lose their money within just three years of retirement, according to a report from NKSFB, a business management firm that helps athletes manage their finances. Much of this is due to the large sums earned over a short period. However, two local organizations are working to change that. The Simon Family and The Players Impact have teamed up to create the TPI Experience, designed to empower athletes and prepare them for long-term financial sustainability.
