Oakland: Woman's husband makes it out of fire alive, home's windows blown out
A woman says her husband called her to say their Oakland hills home was on fire this afternoon. They live near the I-580 freeway where a brush fire jumped to the hillside. Councilmember Treva Reid said she spotted the fire as she was driving on the freeway and called the fire department.
