A new study reveals the average person plans to spend more than $2,000 overall this holiday season. However, with many lacking that cash on hand, they are increasingly relying on credit cards to cover costs. The expenses add up quickly between decorations, gifts, and travel, leaving many saying they won’t fully recover financially until May of next year.
