Over $1,000 worth of stolen meat recovered in Cupertino in 'rare case'

In what the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office is calling a "rare" case, a couple of thieves stole over $1,000 worth of meat from a Cupertino Safeway on Homestead Road. The exact day of the meat heist is unclear, but officials said it happened last week.
