New music venue aims to help revitalize Oakland
The owners of Ceremony, a new music venue in downtown Oakland, say they want to help revitalize the city they live in. They held their grand opening on Friday night. It coincides with the return of Oakland First Fridays after a two-month break. The owners of the new business and the executive director of the monthly event say it's important to showcase the diversity of the city and bring community together.
