Local drivers aim to sweep garbage competition
Eight garbage truck drivers from San Francisco are in a national competition to be named Driver of the Year. They work for Recology and in order to be in the running they have to have clean records, zero injuries, zero accidents. Recology CEO Sal Coniglio and Mission District garbage truck driver Dave Barbagalata joined us on 'The Four' to explain why the city has some of the toughests streets and terrain for garbage trucks to drive on.
