Residents worry about losing their homes amid San Mateo hwy project proposal

The potential plan, which is estimated to cost nearly 200 million dollars, would add a connecting lane between Highway 101 and State Route 92. The project is being proposed as way to ease congestion at the busy interchange leading up to the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge and to improve carpool and express lane use.
